Snake Goddess (Green) by Mike Campbell

goldenwebs:

everybody needs to calm down and look at a leaf

slits for eyes, lounged in the chair bashing vegetables

quick to the other side of the room…

red haired carelessness and judgement with love for everyone except him.

then you, YOU;

there, somewhere, better but for how long?

warm next to me, unbearably unreachable.

the only thing left to do…

jumps out of skin, flys away

and looks for the fleeting one;

for the cycle shall begin again

spiraling into the infinite and divine.

she looks at you

her eyes trying to find you

inside, something

she wants to make sense of you

she thinks

and wonders

she can’t speak

but she just keeps looking

searching’

seeing you.

and it destroys you.
